Bring Keith Home

On October 7th, 2023, American citizen Keith Siegel was taken from his home on Kibbutz Kfar Aza in Israel and brought to Gaza by the terrorist group Hamas. Since then, he has been held hostage in tunnels underground in unimaginably horrible conditions. Keith grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the youngest of four—he has two brothers and a sister. He moved to Israel in the 1980s, where he and his wife, Aviva, raised their four children. Today, he is a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren, who miss him every day.

His wife, Aviva, was also taken hostage and released 51 days later in the deal for women and children that took place last November. Since then, she has spent all of her time fighting to get her husband home. She has met with countless world leaders and spoken to crowds of thousands, sharing her experience as a hostage and advocating for her husband's release.

Everywhere she goes, she brings a journal and asks people to write letters to Keith that he can read when he comes home. Everyone from President Joe Biden to Prime Minister Netanyahu to the members of the Siegel family has written in it. The idea is that when he comes home he will know that he was never alone.

Add your note to Keith here and we'll put it into the journal:
